StuSta was founded in 2025 by Liam Heaney, a Wits student, to give corporate clients event staff they can rely on.
Clients deal with the person who runs the job, from the first email to the invoice.
The idea was simple. High-end brands and their guests expect more than promo staff. They need a curated team who can hold a conversation with anyone, follow a brief and represent a brand properly, with one person accountable for all of them.
Liam runs every job himself: he quotes it, builds the team, briefs the staff and manages them on the day, often on the floor alongside them. Larger events add a second StuSta manager on site.
Jobs range from a single staff member at an office function to LIV Golf South Africa, with regular work for investment firms, banks, property groups and sports events in Johannesburg, Cape Town and beyond.
